BEST OF CHARLOTTE 2008 Another year, another eagerly awaited Best of Charlotte issue. Honestly, perhaps the hardest part of putting together this massive endeavor is — believe it or not — finding a way to write something fresh for this introduction after 21 years. But then it dawned on us: Who reads the intro anyway? Most readers are understandably anxious to cut right to the chase, to find out who and what were deemed the best that the Queen City has to offer. Right? Right? Uh, anybody out there? Well, for all two of you, we thank you for reading this far. But go ahead and finish to the end of the page so you can see who gets credit for this enormous undertaking. As always, this issue wouldn’t be possible without the combined efforts of various people: the vote tabulators, critics, sales people, designers, writers, photographers, editors, bean counters and distributors.
